ranking highly in search engine results. Many of us, however,
are happy to use our church name as the sole keyword. But how

Search and Ye Shall (not) Find, Atkinson explains some of the
most important aspects of web page optimization. In
Part Deux, he recounts the "Nigritude Ultramarine" Googlebombing
contest in 2004. That information is a bit outdated as Google and other
search engines now work to detect Googlebombing, comment spam, and
other black-hat tricks. His comments about requesting links from
related websites are right on target, however.
